UNANNOUNCED ESPN CAMEO? Perchance you'll see me tonight as ESPN begins its edited, tape-delayed broadcasts of the main event from the
2005 World Series of Poker, held in July in Las Vegas. I covered the first three days of play for
a sports feature in the Boston Herald, so the chances of seeing me in a shot or two or about as good as going all-in with Ace-King suited before the flop. In other words, pretty good. Could still get shut out altogether, but still pretty good odds. So keep an eye out for me this week and next, would you? Thanks.
UPDATE: This reporter indeed makes a brief appearance in the final five minutes of Hour 2 of 12 of ESPN's main event coverage, leaning in next to Men the Master looking for a reaction and/or quote as he busts out.
